The Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova announces the results of the second Application Call of exporting companies to the EXPORT MISSIONS Program held between 5 -19 of March 2021, implemented with the financial support of the World Bank and the support of international consulting company Gateway & Partners.

The second Call was announced for 30 exporting companies from 3 relevant sectors:

  • (1) Fresh fruit;
  • (2) Bottled wines Manufacture and
  • (3) Food and non-alcoholic beverages.

36 companies submitted their applications to the program within the Call, out of which:
25 bottled wines manufacture companies;
11 companies in the Food & Beverage sector;
9 companies from the Fresh Fruits sector, declared eligible under the first Call, minding their expressed interest by the participation agreement, were included in the Second Call of the Program, without repeated submission;

During  March 22 -24, 2021, the Working Group set up to select the companies participating in the "EXPORT MISSIONS" program assessed the second Call Program applications and decided to organize three business missions for 30 selected companies. (top 10 best companies ranked by score) from the three sectors as follows:
Fresh fruits - business mission to find customers in the Baltic States;
Manufacture of bottled wines - business mission for customer search in the Scandinavian Countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland);
Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages - business mission for customer search in Romania.
The detailed lists of applicant companies’s  rankings based on the obtained score are listed below as follows:

Manufacture of bottled wines - 21 companies are declared eligible, 10 are selected, 11 - pre-selected;
Annex 1: List of selected and pre-selected companies Wines - Scandinavian countries
Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages - 11 companies were declared eligible and selected;
Annex 2: List of selected companies Food and beverages - Romania
Fresh fruits - 9 selected companies;
Annex 3: List of selected companies Fruit - Baltic States

According to the program requirements, the top 10 companies (from each of the three sectors established by the Program) that record the maximum score based on the selection criteria will participate in business missions (B2B), their delegates being contacted. by Gateway & Partners consultants and invited to sign collaboration agreements within the project with the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova.

If the selected company refuses to participate in the export mission, for which it has been validated, the vacancy is proposed to the company on the waiting list (pre-selected) which has the highest evaluation score. This principle applies until the list of the 10 companies participating in the mission is completed.
