BUCOVAT MULTIMODAL INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS HUB

Bucovăț Multimodal Industrial & Logistics Hub is an investment opportunity on an existing 10.5 ha brownfield industrial site in Bucovăț, Strășeni District, Republic of Moldova. The project is being developed by Global Grain Solutions SRL.

The site has room for two separate components that do not interfere with each other:

• Component A: rail-road terminal for construction materials brought in from Ukraine. Target capacity is 150,000 t/yr, the investment is about EUR 195,000, and payback is roughly 1.5–2 years.
• Component B: rapeseed processing into crude oil and meal for the EU and Romanian markets. Capacity is 29,700 t/yr, the investment is about EUR 2.25M, and estimated EBITDA is EUR 1.1–1.3M/yr.

Together, the two components require an investment of about EUR 2.45M and can generate a result of about EUR 1.4–1.6M/yr. Indicative payback is 2–3 years.
