The Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova announces the results of the first Application Call of exporting companie to the "EXPORT MISSIONS" Program held between January 27 - February 15, 2021, realized with the financial support of the World Bank and the support of international consulting company Gateway & Partners.

The first Call was announced for 30 exporting companies from 3 relevant sectors:

  • (1) Fresh and processed fruit;
  • (2) Electronics, machinery, equipment and machinery; and
  •  (3) Furniture Manufacturig.

 Thus, during the announced Call, 65 companies submitted their applications to the program, out of which:

  • 31 companies from the Fresh and processed fruits sector;
  • 15 companies from the Electronics, equipment and machinery sector;
  • 19 companies in the field of Furniture Manufacturing.

 From 16 to 26 February 2021, the Working Group set up to select the companies participating in the "EXPORT MISSIONS" program examined and assessed the applications for the first Call of the Program and decided to organize three business missions for 30 selected companies (top 10 companies best ranked by score) from the three sectors as follows:

  • Fresh and processed fruits - business mission looking for new customers in Germany;
  • Electronics, equipment and machinery - business mission looking fornew  customers in Germany;
  • Furniture manufacturing - business mission looking for new customers in Romania.

Detailed lists of rankings based on the score obtained by the applicant companies can be consulted below as follows:

 Fresh and processed fruits - 21 eligible companies evaluated and pre-selected, 10 companies declared ineligible;

 Furniture Manufacturing - 12 companies were pre - selected, 7 are ineligible (see Annex

Annex 3: List of eligible companies - Furniture - Romania

 As the program regulations required, the top 10 companies (from each of the three sectors established by the Program) that record the maximum score based on the selection criteria are selected for participation in business missions (B2B), and their delegates will be contacted by Gateway & Partners consultants and invited to sign collaboration agreements within the project with the Investment Agency of the Republic of Moldova.

 If the selected company refuses to participate in the export mission, for which it has been validated, the vacancy is proposed to the company on the waiting list (pre-selected) which has the highest evaluation score. This principle applies until the completion of the list of 10 companies participanting in the mission.
