The Investment Agency together with the National Office for Diaspora Relations, held a meeting where the Agency's specialists presented the country brand to their compatriots in the diaspora.The country brand was launched in 2014, based on the symbol "Tree of Life", selected to represent the values and features of Moldavian tourism. The logo was completed with elements that refer to the strategic sectors of the national economy: Agriculture and food industry, Machine building and Electronics, ICT and BPO, Fashion, Tourism and Infrastructure. The meeting aimed to facilitate the process in which the Moldovan diaspora can get involved, in the initiatives of the Investment Agency to jointly promote the country brand at national and international level.

Currently, the country brand "Tree of Life" is widely promoted by our fellow citizens in the diaspora, who choose to use it when starting a business, for example the restaurants "Moldova" in Thailand and the USA, but also in many other places and situations, in order to promote the country brand.

The country brand "Tree of Life" was presented in 31 forums and exhibitions in countries such as China, Germany, Italy, Romania, the Russian Federation.

Rodica Verbeniuc, General Director of the Investment Agency ”: The mobilization of the Moldovan diaspora is an example for other diasporas, and through the Investment Agency’s mandate we come to support all the suggested initiatives. We support all our fellow citizens who, no matter where they are, choose to use the country's platform to promote their own initiatives and businesses and to contribute and benefit from this international collaboration on our brand's platform. The symbol "Tree of Life" is part of our DNA because in its branches passes absolutely everything that represents us, and the Investment Agency, when it took over, offered it the economic color, turning it into a country brand that presents Moldova's investment and export offer. It is an attractive symbol not only through the visual identity but also through its inner energy, philosophy. In the last two years, the "Tree of Life" has been part of Moldova's country stands at international exhibitions in over 40 countries. We thank our partners in this regard, who continue to get involved in promoting and supporting local tourism ".

In 2020, the Investment Agency launched a website dedicated to the country brand - www.pomulvietii.md, in order to outline and highlight  the country brand and to enhance the Republic of Moldova’s position on the world economic map. By accessing this page, users can learn more about our national history and Tree of Life’s symbolism, all the information being structured in the Brand Book available on the site.
