On October 24, as part of the "Export Vision" program, the Investment Agency presented a market study dedicated to Italy, one of the world's strongest economies. The event, held at Digital Park, brought together over 60 participants, including government officials and private sector representatives, to provide Moldovan companies with essential information about the opportunities and challenges of the Italian market.

Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, emphasized the importance of trade relations with the European Union for Moldova's economic growth, highlighting the promotion of exports, productivity, and added value.

Cristina Ceban, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, and Alexandra Șian, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, highlighted the strategic role of the "Export Vision" program in strengthening the competitiveness of Moldovan companies at the international level.

Why Italy? Italy, the third-largest economy in the eurozone and one of the top 10 globally, represents an important economic partner for Moldova, offering expansion opportunities for exporters. With a GDP of approximately 2.25 trillion USD and imports exceeding 600 billion USD in 2023, the Italian market presents potential for collaboration and development.

The "Export Vision" program reflects the Investment Agency's commitment to supporting Moldovan companies in becoming more competitive and diversifying their international presence.
