Participation Call for GLOBAL YOUTH TOURISM SUMMIT
Young people aged 12-18, citizens of the Republic of Moldova residing in the Italian Republic, are invited to represent the Republic of Moldova at the "GLOBAL YOUTH TOURISM SUMMIT" (GYTS), held on August 23-25, 2021, in Sorrento, Italian Republic.
The Investment Agency is the governmental institution responsible for the participation of the Republic of Moldova in GYTS. Cooperating with partner institutions in the identification, selection and support of participants - Moldovan Embassy in Italy and the Republic of Malta (hereinafter the Embassy), will ensure the evaluation and selection of candidates who will form the Moldovan delegation to GYTS.

To participate, applicants must complete and submit the Application File by June 20, 2021 and meet the following eligibility criteria:
- to be born between 22.07.2002-17.07.2009
- to hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova confirmed by related supporting documents: (MD birth certificate, MD identity card or valid MD Passport)
- be a resident of the Italian Republic;
- the candidate will elaborate and submit an essay on the topic: “Ten reasons to discover tourist Moldova” written in Romanian, in a maximum volume of one (1) A4 page;
- the accompaniment of the minor to be ensured by one of the adults, fact confirmed by signing the declaration on his / her own responsibility.
The complete application file will include:
- the application form filled in by the candidate
- copy of the identity document confirming the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova;
- the essay on the subject: “Ten reasons to discover tourist Moldova” written in Romanian, in a maximum volume of one (1) A4 page;
- the declaration on own responsibility completed and signed by the parent / guardian
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (copy of the academic transcript/ certificate).

* The competition involves the selection of two candidates - one aged between 12-14 years and another aged 15-18 years;
