From November 27-29, AHK Romania, in collaboration with Invest Moldova Agency, organized the Trilateral Business Forum, an event dedicated to exploring business opportunities in the Republic of Moldova. The event brought together 13 representatives of German and Romanian companies interested in sectors such as energy, metal processing, and mechanical engineering.

The delegation's visit began with a meeting at the Invest Moldova Agency office, followed by a discussion with representatives of the Chișinău City Hall and a visit to Technical University of Moldova, one of the country’s leading institutions for talent development.

The second day featured a strategic business forum highlighting Moldova's competitive advantages: extensive access to European markets, pro-business legislation, a skilled workforce, an attractive tax regime, and a government open to dialogue and reforms.

Romania and Germany, being among Moldova's top investors, play a significant role in the country’s economic development, with 1,600 Romanian-owned companies and 426 German-owned companies operating in the Republic of Moldova.

A key moment of the event was the B2B session, during which eight companies from Romania and Germany interacted with numerous Moldovan companies and associations, fostering valuable connections for future collaborations.

The program also included visits to local manufacturers, such as LED Market, showcasing Moldova's potential as a competitive business destination.

This activity is supported by the "Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova" project, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ.
