On October 14-18, at the initiative of the Investment Agency "Invest Moldova" and the National Association for Inbound and Inland Tourism in Moldova, an informational tour is organized for tour operators, airlines and media representatives from Kiev, Ukraine.

The tour agenda includes  B2B session, which will be attended by representatives of business and associations from both countries, visiting several country’s tourist attractions such as: guesthouses, wineries, cultural attractions, light adventure experiences and a tour of the city by tourist trolleybus.

Through the “Moldova: A place to find yourself” campaign, Moldova has redefined its position at the regional level, promoting the concept of a space where the experiences lived here are transformed into a source of inspiration and recovery. The Republic of Moldova offers tourists who have chosen our country as a tourist destination, unique experiences, the national tourist potential manifesting itself through its specific forms, such as: rural tourism, cultural tourism, religious tourism, ecotourism, spa tourism, gastronomic tourism, adventure tourism and wine tourism - experiences that make Moldova a place to find yourself "said Mr. Stelian MANIC, General Director of the Investment Agency" Invest Moldova ".

This informational tour comes to complete the series of mutual promotion activities that we initiated together with the Hospitality Industry Association of Ukraine following the Partnership Agreement signed between our associations. The common goal is to intensify relations between partners, to capitalize on opportunities, to promote common tourism products and thus contribute to increasing the number of foreign tourists in our countries. The informational tour represents a gateway to capitalizing on the development and promotion opportunities  of the Republic of Moldova among tour operators in Ukraine, aiming to expand economic relations between the two parties, strengthen joint efforts to establish new partnerships, develop cross-border tourist routes and relaunch the tourism industry in the context of the current pandemic.

The action is organized by the Investment Agency in collaboration with ANTRIM, with the support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) , the Light Industry and Tourism Competitiveness Support Activity (EDGE Buy-in project), Fly UIA and the Hospitality Industry Association from Ukraine.
