The Investment Agency launches a series of trainings for the employees of the diplomatic missions. The courses aim to increase the skills and abilities of the economic attachés responsible for the economic portfolio in the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Moldova abroad.

The first training was held on April 1, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)being the concerned sector. Experts in the field, ATIC association and Moldovan-German Business representatives  as well as the IT Park administrator reviewed the most important news in the sector of information technologies, outlining the progress made by the Republic of Moldova.

Therefore, it was mentioned that the volume of ICT products and services exports exceeded in 2019  5 billion lei. Also, IT exports increased 3 times - from 1.1 billion lei in 2015 to 3.5 billion lei in 2019, considerably exceeding traditionally exported products, such as wines, by over 400 million lei .

At the same time, the sales volume in the electronic communications industry - 6.8 billion lei, represented 7.1% of the national GDP.

The trainings will take place monthly, and the upcoming  topics are public speech and the use of the Linkedin platform in order to develop an economic perspectvesand opportunities network for  our country.

The trainings are organized by the Investment Agency with the financial assistance of the development partner GIZ Moldova.
