The representatives of the Investment Agency, together with their colleagues from Giz Moldova had a working visit to Edineț and Bălți, where they got acquainted with the start up and integration in activity of two foreign companies (Germany, Great Britain), launched in 2020 with the support of the Investments Agency of Moldova.
The German industrial company in the Electronics sector, "Magnetec", resident in the Balti Economic Zone, registered an investment of 5 million dollars, creating about 200 jobs.
And the British company "Cornelius Electronics", operating in the Edinet Industrial Park, expects to launch its electronic components production activity in April of this year. The value of the initial investment is up to 5 million euros and will create about 150 jobs in the near future.
The visit concluded in identifying new opportunities to connect with local suppliers to include them in the production and supply chain, but also was confirmed the continuos support of the Investment Agency in the process of expanding business here in our country.
