Today, during an event with the associative environment of the tourism industry, the Investment Agency marked the official start of the second stage of #NeamPornit 2021 campaign. The initiative was launched in 2020, in a context in which the tourism sector had been severely affected by the pandemic and industry actors needed support like never before. Meanwhile, people from our country, who could no longer travel abroad as they were accustomed to, were looking for tourist destinations home. Thus, the campaign came to promote lesser-known tourist attractions and to encourage citizens to travel to their homeland. This summer, the Investment Agency comes up with a series of initiatives that continue the promotion and exploration of Moldova’s tourist destinations, offering unique experience, both among its inhabitants and abroad.
Thus, the tourism sector brand book, designed especially for associative environment representatives was presented. The idea aimed to promote the Republic of Moldova as a tourist destination abroad, as a result of the campaign developed by the Agency: "Moldova: A place to find yourself" .The brand book presents the structural elements of the country brand - the Tree of Life, the Tourist Brand rules of use as well as examples of its use.
The newly launched tourist brochure presents, in an authentic language Moldova’s history, culture, gastronomy and the experience it can offer to tourists. The brochure also has an informative map including country’s tourist attractions, such as worship places, museums, parks and reservations, wineries, and lots of other places that may be of interest to both domestic and foreign tourists. The brochure is a unique tool, which can be used both by the tourism industry agents, the associative sector, but also by any person who wants to present our country to a potential visitor.
It concerns the Wooden Churches cross-border Route Romania - Republic of Moldova and the forthcoming- The Craftsmen's Route.
Two new tourist routes connecting the Republic of Moldova to the international tourist circuit have been reported. It concerns the Wooden Churches cross-border Route Romania - Republic of Moldova and the forthcoming- The Craftsmen's Route.
The Wooden Churches Route is a cultural-tourist route that includes seven wooden churches from the Republic of Moldova, along with 183 other places of worship across the Prut. The initiative developed by Romania and extended in our country by the means of the Investment Agency aims to promote tourist destinations, but also the sustainable development of art and worship monuments. Thus, foreign and local tourists, are invited to join a trip full of cultural discoveries, which aims to explore the common historical heritage. The route will last two days, and tourists will travel 635 kilometers from the first to the last destination.The Craftsmen's Route will offer tourists the possibility to know closely, but also to learn the traditional crafts of our country. To create this route, craftsmen who have a tourist offer were identified and training sessions were organized to prepare them to receive guests. Also, the identity guide of the Craftsmen's Route was elaborated.
Last but not least, the Investment Agency team launched a dance challenge today. The movements are accompanied by Pasha Parfeni’s "Fiddler", the guest of this event. The artist expressed his support for the #NeamPornit campaign and urged all citizens to travel across their home country and discover what it has to offer.
