Mrs. Rodica Verbeniuc , the General Director of the Investment Agency "Invest Moldova", submitted her resignation request on June 21, 2021, with the dismissal from July 30. She decided to retire for personal reasons related to relocation and family reunion.
"3 years ago, I was excited to accept the invitation to return to the Republic of Moldova and to take the lead of a government institution with the honorable mandate of implementing promotion strategies to place our country on the global economic map, in order to attract foreign investment, support domestic exporters in their efforts to access foreign markets and increase the attractiveness of Moldova as a tourist destination with authentic experiences. I have tried to faced with dignity the challenges related to the institutional reorganization, the government changes, the limits caused by the pandemic crisis in order to turn them into new opportunities. The desire to manage my life and career priorities in a balanced way determined my decision to return to my family, having the certainty that the honest and professional team of the Investment Agency is ready to further capitalize on the results obtained. "
Rodica Verbeniuc started her activity as the CEO of the Investment Agency "Invest Moldova" on July 20, 2018, with over 20 years of experience in the private sector, managing public relations and strategic crisis communication in a multinational IT corporation. The contribution to the local and international corporate brands design by applying promotion strategies on the markets of Moldova and Eurasia (Sweden, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, etc.) outlined her professional experience in promoting the economic and investment image of the Republic of Moldova. Corporate social responsibility projects’ success and sustainability initiatives implemented both in Moldova and in Uzbekistan – country where she had carried out her international mandate for 3 years, has been fueled by effective partnerships with international institutions, associations and local communities.
