On April 7-12, took place the online business mission of Moscow companies with companies from the Republic of Moldova.
The Investment Agency offered domestic companies the opportunity to participate in a series of B2B workshops, in which they exchanged experience with 20 Moscow companies in the field of mechanical engineering, cosmetics and perfumery, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, kids products and textiles.
Igor Ștefaneț ,the head of the Investment and Investment Protection Department within the Investment Agency, attended the business missions event opening. He stated that, in the pandemic context the Agency applied strategies to adapt to new circumstances, identifying new online tools to promote the investment potential.
The representative of the Agency also referred to the investment projects that were initiated in 2020 with the support of the Investment Agency, Penoplex being one of the Russian investors that decided to invest over 20 million euros in our country. Specializing in the production of construction insulation materials, heavy industry and the residential sector, the Russian company operates in the Ungheni Free Economic Zone, where it has created 150 jobs.
The ten Moldovan companies that participated in the event learned about the activity of companies from the Russian Federation, had the opportunity to present their products and services, but also the opportunity to establish long-term partnerships.
The administration of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the administration of the NAO "Moscow Export Center" participated in the videoconference.
At the same time, the mission included several experts: Vladislav Darvai, commercial representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, Igor Tikuș, president of the non-profit partnership "Congress of Moldovan Industrialists and Entrepreneurs" and Alexandr Gusarskii, consultant of the representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova.
The Investment Agency is the only institution mandated to promote the image of the Republic of Moldova on the economic, investment and tourism dimension, being the administrator of the Country Brand.
The Agency develops platforms and promotional tools in support of the business environment in the Republic of Moldova and facilitates inter-institutional dialogue for foreign investors, by establishing collaborative partnerships with all stakeholders.
