The Moldovan Investment Agency is calling on local importers and exporters to attend in April 2021 business missions via workshops and B2B sessions, organized and assisted by the Russian Federation partner "Moscow Export Center".
During the B2B Online Workshops and Meetings, participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the products of 20 companies in the field of mechanical engineering, cosmetics and perfumery, pharmaceuticals, kids products and the textile industry. Following business interests, participants will be able to establish direct business contacts for further cooperation. The development of these Business Workshops and the opportunity for Moldovan importers and exporters to participate in these business activities were discussed in a working meeting on March 24. where 30 companies from the Russian Federation participated. Russia’s export customs formalities for our country were reviewed during this meeting, as well as the Republic of Moldova market analysis from the perspective of import and export opportunities.
The Deputy General Director of the Investment Agency, Elena Oleinic-Slivinshi, remind the main collaboration agreements that the two countries signed, talked about the investment climate of the Republic of Moldova, the Agency’s interaction and support experience in facilitating and developing Moldovan-Russian business cooperation.
The Republic of Moldova’s foreign trade volume with the Russian Federation in January-October 2020 registered 651669.99 thousand US dollars, of which the export of Moldovan products amounted to 179019.99 thousand US dollars, and imports from the Russian Federation 472650.00 thousand dollars US.
